Modern business operates in a complex and ever-changing legal landscape. Regardless of the industry in which your company operates, legal disputes can arise at any time. These disputes may relate to contracts, intellectual property, employment law issues, competition law, or tax liabilities. To minimise risks and protect your company's interests, it's essential to engage a qualified business solicitor. Let's explore how a business solicitor can protect your company at various stages of legal disputes and prevent potential problems before they arise.

Preventing legal disputes before they arise

The primary task of a business lawyer is to prevent disputes before they arise. A proactive approach to a company's legal security can avoid many problems. A lawyer can develop and implement a comprehensive compliance control system that meets both international standards and the requirements of local legislation. This includes reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring changes in legislation, and advising on corporate governance issues.

In addition, a business solicitor can develop internal policies and procedures aimed at minimising risks. For instance, in the realm of employment law, this could include the creation of clear and fair employment contracts that protect the company's interests, as well as the implementation of effective programmes to prevent discrimination and other infringements. In the area of contract law, the solicitor can assist in drafting contracts that maximally protect your company's interests and minimise the potential for disputes.

In the event of any problems, we recommend getting in touch with our to Anatoly Yarovyi, a lawyer at the Interpol law firm. The extensive experience of our solicitors in tackling complex issues within the international legal arena will help protect your interests and ensure all legislative requirements are met.

Legal representation during court proceedings

If avoiding a legal dispute proves impossible, a business solicitor steps in to defend the company's interests in court. In this role, it's not only a high level of knowledge of the law that's crucial, but also the ability to develop a sound defence strategy. The business solicitor analyses the legal positions of all parties involved, gathers and prepares evidence, engages in pre-trial negotiations, and represents the company during court hearings.

Legal representation encompasses not only defence in court but also participation in arbitration proceedings and mediation processes. In international disputes, a business lawyer must have knowledge of the peculiarities of different jurisdictions' legal systems, understand the principles of international private law, and be able to apply international regulations, such as the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 1958.

Our solicitor will be able to conduct a thorough analysis of your company's operations and provide early warning of potential future risks, helping you avoid these risks and preserve both your funds and the company's reputation.

Negotiations and dispute resolution

The ability to negotiate and reach compromises is another crucial aspect of a business lawyer's role. In some instances, litigation may not be the best approach for resolving a conflict. This could be due to financial costs, time resources, or the need to maintain business relations with the other party. In such situations, the business lawyer plays a key role in negotiations and dispute resolution.

Negotiations require a solicitor to possess not only legal expertise but also diplomacy, the ability to assess risks, and predict the outcomes of various decisions. Settling a dispute through negotiations often allows companies to avoid public exposure and maintain confidentiality, which can be critically important in cases involving sensitive issues related to the company's reputation.

Resolving complex legal disputes

Certain legal disputes require a particularly nuanced approach and deep expertise. For instance, disputes related to intellectual property necessitate a lawyer's knowledge of specific international treaties, such as the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property or the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works. Knowledge in the fields of technology, innovation, and data protection is also crucial.

Complex disputes may also relate to mergers and acquisitions, antitrust regulation, or cross-border transactions. In such situations, a business lawyer must possess not only legal knowledge but also an understanding of business processes, strategic planning, and financial analysis. Effective resolution of such disputes requires a comprehensive approach that includes both legal and business aspects.

Crisis management and damage control

Crisis situations can arise suddenly and have serious consequences for a company, including threats to its reputation, financial losses, and even criminal liability. In such instances, a business lawyer plays the role of a coordinator of crisis management actions. Their task is to minimise damage and protect the interests of the company at all levels.

Crisis management involves a prompt assessment of legal risks, the development and implementation of a crisis management plan, interaction with regulatory bodies, as well as preparing the company for potential legal proceedings. It's also crucial to manage information correctly and engage with the press to minimise reputational damage. A lawyer helps the company respond swiftly to challenges and make decisions that will prevent further deterioration of the situation.

When is it time to call a solicitor?

Many companies only turn to a solicitor when a problem has already arisen. However, as practice shows, engaging a business solicitor at the early stages can significantly reduce risks and prevent legal disputes. Regular consultations with a solicitor, legal audits, and compliance procedures will help your company stay within the legal framework and avoid serious consequences.

In the modern context of conducting business on a global scale, companies face a multitude of legal challenges, ranging from compliance with local and international regulations to managing legal risks and protecting against infringements. Companies aiming for sustainable development and the protection of their interests inevitably encounter the need to engage a qualified legal consultant. In this regard, the importance of a lawyer for a business becomes apparent, as they not only safeguard the company's interests but also contribute to its growth and prosperity.

Why does a business need a solicitor?

Legal support for a business is an integral part of its successful operation. In the context of globalisation and rapid changes in legal norms, companies face numerous risks and threats that can impact their activities. Sanctions lawyer not only helps minimize these risks, but it also ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. This is particularly important in the context of international business, where companies must adhere to the laws and regulations of various jurisdictions.

The primary functions of an Interpol lawyer include advising on corporate law matters, contract management, dispute resolution, and representation in court. Additionally, the lawyer plays a key role in ensuring the protection of intellectual property and compliance with employment legislation. Thanks to the professional assistance of an Interpol lawyer, a company can avoid fines, legal disputes, and other legal issues, allowing it to focus on its core business.

Protection against corruption and bribery

Corruption and bribery are among the most serious threats to business, especially on the international stage. Failing to comply with anti-corruption regulations can lead to significant fines, reputational damage, and even criminal prosecution. An Interpol lawyer plays a key role in developing and implementing a company's anti-corruption policy, as well as conducting internal audits to identify potential risks.

International anti-corruption laws, such as the United States' Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act, require companies to adhere strictly to rules and standards. Violating these laws can lead to severe legal consequences, including a ban on conducting business in certain countries and participating in international tenders. An Interpol lawyer assists companies in complying with these laws by developing and implementing appropriate internal procedures and conducting employee training.

Preventing legal disputes and court proceedings

Legal disputes and court proceedings can seriously affect a company's reputation and financial standing. Preventing such situations is one of the key tasks of a lawyer. Companies that seek legal advice in a timely manner can avoid numerous problems associated with breach of contract, unauthorised use of intellectual property, and employment disputes.

A solicitor assists a company in drafting and finalising contracts in such a way as to maximise their protection against potential disputes. Should a conflict arise, the solicitor can suggest methods for resolving it out of court, which helps avoid costly and protracted legal battles. However, if litigation becomes inevitable, the solicitor represents the company's interests in court, ensuring the most favourable possible outcome for the case.

Supporting business growth and expansion

The growth and expansion of a business require meticulous legal planning. Companies venturing into new markets or launching new products face a myriad of legal issues related to registration, licensing, compliance with local laws, and tax requirements. An international lawyer plays a pivotal role in providing legal support at all stages of business expansion, from conducting legal audits to developing strategies for reducing tax liabilities.

When entering international markets, companies must consider the requirements of various jurisdictions, which can be a complex task without professional legal assistance. A solicitor helps the company develop a strategy for entering new markets, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards. This includes trademark registration, obtaining the necessary licences and permits, and drafting agreements with foreign partners.

Support for business transactions

Business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, property deals, and securing investments, require meticulous legal support. A solicitor ensures legal backing throughout all stages of the transaction, starting from conducting due diligence to preparing and finalising contracts. This helps to minimise risks and avoid potential issues in the future.

For instance, during the merger of two companies, a solicitor conducts an analysis of the legal positions of both parties, identifying potential risks and issues that could affect the successful completion of the deal. The solicitor also drafts contracts that protect the interests of the company and ensure all parties involved in the transaction comply with legislative requirements.

Adherence to sanctions

Sanction regimes, such as those imposed by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), represent a significant obstacle for companies engaged in international trade. Non-compliance with sanction requirements can lead to substantial fines, asset seizure, and criminal prosecution. OFAC Compliance Solicitor assists the company in complying with sanction regimes by developing appropriate internal procedures and conducting regular transaction monitoring.

Companies engaged in business with overseas partners must be particularly vigilant in adhering to sanction requirements. A solicitor assists the company in avoiding breaches by offering advice on sanction legislation and conducting staff training. This is especially crucial in the context of economic sanctions, which can change depending on the political situation.

When should you consult a solicitor?

There are several situations in which a business may need to consult a solicitor. Firstly, when setting up a new company or entering a new market, legal support is essential to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements. Secondly, when entering into major deals and contracts, a solicitor can help protect the company's interests and avoid legal risks. Thirdly, in the event of disputes or claims arising, legal assistance may be necessary to defend the company's interests in court or through out-of-court conflict resolution.

Furthermore, seeking legal advice is essential when facing issues with compliance to regulatory requirements, such as anti-corruption measures, anti-money laundering rules, and sanctions regimes. A solicitor assists the company in developing and implementing internal procedures that ensure adherence to all necessary standards.

Women were able to develop winning strategies for online casinos. It was women with minimal stakes who won large sums of money. Why does this happen? Women can calculate how well the chosen strategy will work. Moreover, a woman in history, an employee of Las Vegas, played the machines. But she spent at most 25 dollars per game. But one night, she spent 2 dollars more and won the jackpot. This is one of many cases of such a big win. Women rarely lose a lot of money. More often than not, they develop strategies that will increase their chances of winning.

Features of the game in the casino

Playing for real money at an online casino allows you to win real money. However, please note that before the first payout, especially with a bonus, a minimum turnover is required before the payout is made to the registered bank account details. Online casinos work with different slot providers. Many providers offer various machines that allow gambling fans to win the jackpot. But what should beginners do? Newcomers to online gaming are recommended to choose a casino with a demo version. On such portals, you can familiarize yourself with slot machines and understand the principles of their operation. In addition, you should not be in a hurry to make bets.

The advice to play with a small bet at an online casino, which only came on the market in 2021, has the following reasons:

  • You may need to find out how reliable the new provider is and whether you should trust them with a lot of money.
  • You may still need to like the execution and selection. Even in this case, testing the new casino site effortlessly makes sense.

You can also play at these high-stakes casinos if you have thoroughly researched their information. It's worth checking out the online game provider information and bonus rounds.

Online casino bonus system

Unlike traditional Las Vegas casinos, almost every online casino offers some form of welcome bonus, the most common of which is equal to your first deposit. In other words, you will receive double the amount you deposit after you join the casino for the first time.

Deposit bonuses are a common way to encourage new players to join an online casino. Like welcome bonuses, these bonuses bring a multiple of the deposit amount after the player opens an account. The amount can be 2, 3, 4, or even five times the deposit amount.

No deposit bonuses allow players to try a new casino without risking money. As the name suggests, no deposit or credit card details are required. The player only needs to activate an account and can play for free.

The bonus is usually limited to a maximum, with some restrictions. In most cases, you can only try certain games. Bonuses give players a chance to increase their chances of winning. An online casino's main task is appropriately managing the bonus accruals.

Strategies for winning at online casinos

Before betting real money at an online casino for the first time, you should determine whether your participation is for entertainment only or if you want to earn real winnings. If your participation in an online casino is purely for entertainment and winning is of secondary importance, you should never go all out to minimize the risk of losing.

  • It is best to choose an online casino with a high payout rate that is established in the market. If you play slots with a high payout rate, your chances of profit at the casino naturally increase. However, keep an eye on how volatile the game is.
  • Think about what games you like to play online in your spare time. What are your skills there? Players who are good at math should consider online poker for real money. If you don't like card games, you may be better suited to slot machines. The most important thing is the reaction. Pressing virtual keys at the right moment requires concentration and some self-control. If the first few times did not work, you do not need to despair and certainly do not need to throw your computer or smartphone out the window.
  • It sounds paradoxical, but quite a few advanced players would like to decline a bonus at an online casino. Why? You usually need to deposit money and wager the bonus to get a bonus. However, the conditions for free spins are often very high — for example, you must make a certain number of turns in a certain amount of time. Only after that can the winnings be paid out.

You can develop your strategy as you play. But this will take several months of practice. To begin with, it is better to study the work of the provider, the features of game slots, and choose a suitable platform for the game.

The strategies for individual games are just as important as the basic rules of casino games. Learn about game strategies and betting systems you can use at online casinos. These strategies will help you minimize your losses and get the most out of your game. If you want to win money, stick to games with low casino advantage and play them using the perfect strategy.

A casino is a place where you can win the jackpot. Since the existence of casinos, many people have become the owners of big winnings. Among the winners were primarily men. Statistically, they spend more time gambling. But women have also won large sums in the casino.

In bestchilecasinos every woman can win the jackpot with minimal investment. The player only needs to make a deposit and place her bet. Regardless of gender, location, and the amount of money in the account, every player can expect to win big.

Music for the business lady

In today's world, women have to fight for their place. Women work hard on themselves to excel in their careers. Many girls have responsibilities besides career advancement, including child-rearing. It is no secret that women spend a lot of time on their development, but at the same time, they can maintain a family atmosphere, raise children, and so on. Such a position in life makes a woman strong and independent. But all people face burnout in the process of their life. What but music can raise the mood and general spirit of a girls? Here are some songs for girls that will help you to believe in yourself and keep fighting for a place in the business environment.

  • "I Am Woman" by Jordin Sparks. This song traces the line of importance of a woman. Girls can do everything, and they have enough strength for self-development, family, and themselves. A woman is a representative of strength and limitless possibilities.
  • "Run the World (Girls)" — Beyoncé. The song gives support to all girls who fight for equality rights daily. Until now, girls have been stereotyped as housewives. But most women have proven to the world that it is possible to be both a mom and a great hostess and an expert in her field.
  • "I Won't Back Down" — Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers. This song is about resistance and living by the rules or making your own rules. In many ways, people depend on the opinions of others. But recognizing yourself and discovering your strong qualities opens up new opportunities for girls.

Not only can girls be successful in business, great moms, but they can also win at casinos. Who says casinos are a man's domain? Women can often form their own strategy that will win with minimal investment.

How does a woman win at the casino?

Modern casinos allow you to win the jackpot with minimal investment. However, only some players can properly use the bonus offers in the casino. At first glance, the bonuses make the player play more in the casino. But in fact, bonuses give advantages to players. Thanks to them, you can double your chances of winning. Use bonuses correctly, and then you can win back and increase your chance of a big win.

To increase your chances of winning, familiarize yourself with the game you like in all its details. This way, you can be prepared for all contingencies. For example, you can start playing your chosen no-deposit game to practice. Many online casinos offer such an opportunity. Finding the right strategy takes time.

But you may also want to specialize only in this game or become a universal gamer. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. As a versatile player, you certainly have many more options and applications. Even so, it is advisable to have some strategy to help you navigate unforeseen situations. It is much easier with a single game.

Don't just pay attention to your strategy. Also, pay close attention to what others are doing. Then, you can see exactly which decisions are promising and which are not. This can also help you adjust your decision-making processes. As the saying goes, it's best to learn from other people's mistakes. Not all experiences are universal, but they are helpful for self-reflection and improving your gaming skills.

Proper money management is the way to success

It is not for nothing that, in many families, women manage the family budget. Women know where you can save money and get more benefits. This rule applies to casino games as well.

It is clear to everyone that play money should be handled with care. But specific tools can save us from tedious control. For example, you can set a limit on withdrawals from your account. The same should be done for individual games so you only spend on a particular game as planned. Many online casinos offer such a service.

When it comes to time, the following always applies: time management and variety. Allocate a specific time of the day for gambling. For example, it could be a few hours or maybe a few days a week when you can dedicate yourself to gambling. Remember food and even sleep. Try incorporating as much variety as possible so that screen time only takes up a little of your time. This way, you can stay focused and rested during the game itself. This can only have a positive effect on the results of the game!

The game's result largely depends on the mood, correctly chosen strategy, and the ability to manage your resources. The main rule in the casino is to spend only what you are ready to lose. The strength of women lies in the fact that they can strategize and calculate the result several steps ahead. So why not put it all into practice?

Individual people perform various roles in society, such as running a business or taking care of the household and family. In terms of career options for women, there are possibilities such as charity work, selling flowers, or opening a beauty salon. The persistence of these stereotypes remains prevalent in society despite advancements in modernity and progressivism.

Gender is not a significant factor in entrepreneurship, presenting a paradox. In this context, it is important to acknowledge the qualities that are commonly found in both genders, such as responsibility, curiosity, ambition, independence, courage, determination, fearlessness towards mistakes, flexibility and firmness. Individuals are able to add to this list based on their personal experiences conducting business or interacting with its representatives. It is agreed that qualities do not have purely masculine or feminine features. There is a notable gender imbalance in the business world.

The top five countries for women in terms of doing business were Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Denmark, and Sweden. The constraints primarily stem from the specific women's lack of abilities, energy, and managerial competencies, rather than the unique aspects of small business regulation in the country.

It seems strange and surprising how easily it is concluded that women entrepreneurs are insolvent or uneducated. What happens to all those girls who do well in school and excel in university? Where do their "energy and abilities" go? At what point does everything suddenly turn upside down, and purposeful excellent students suddenly turn into insufficiently capable and incompetent women?

Many women enter entrepreneurship with the goal of increasing their income. Rather than focusing on restoring fair wages in employment, many choose to pursue free swimming as a means of achieving financial stability.

Socio-cultural conditions dictate that women must meet certain requirements, prioritizing their roles as mothers before all else.

Gender inequality is present in women's perceptions of themselves. This is not unexpected. Literature and socio-economic traditions have contributed to the perception that business is a male-dominated field. The traditional gender roles of men as providers and women as caretakers remain prevalent and are expected to persist for the foreseeable future. There is a lack of diverse and positive female role models. Statistically, the majority of successful businessmen admired worldwide happen to be men. However, this should not discourage you from attempting entrepreneurship.

Women may have to make a decision between pursuing a career or becoming a mother. There exist transitional forms that lie between these two poles. Entrepreneurship offers the potential to balance both financial success and family obligations through the pursuit of a personal business venture.

A limited range of fields are often associated as being primarily for women. Society often suggests that women should pursue careers in floristry, the beauty industry, teaching, and retail (with a preference for clothing or underwear). Accounting is a viable option. If a woman lacks interest in these particular areas, she may need to explore other options to find her niche.

It may be best to avoid traditional "women's" businesses if they do not align with your interests. Find inspiration through examples of successful women in fields that align with your interests. Individuals with an interest in analytics can achieve success in the field through establishing their own company, as exclusive rights were not granted solely to men. It's important to note that there are no gender-specific industries or areas of expertise. The only obstacle to attempting a new role is the fear of failure, and the extent of one's capabilities is unknown. There are various industries such as IT, computer game development, chemical, finance and investment.

The Environment Will Change Only If We Ourselves Change in It

Gender differences can be advantageous in this situation. Studies have shown that women tend to be more social and empathetic, and place importance on receiving emotional support. If the environment is lacking in support, it may be necessary to seek out a group of individuals with similar interests and goals. In today's society, there are numerous methods for discovering your social circle and obtaining emotional and professional assistance. There are numerous organizations available for entrepreneurs to obtain assistance. I do not possess any firsthand knowledge of engaging with major government institutions to assist female entrepreneurs. I have sufficient interaction in groups formed around personal growth programs or specialized training. It is noteworthy that the majority of participants in these programs are female. In a supportive environment, individuals can identify their monetizable skills and explore industries that pique their interest, fostering a desire for growth and new experiences.

There exists a stereotypical perception of women in the business world, which may take some time to dissipate. Environmental changes are dependent upon our own personal changes within it. Learning to defend your boundaries in business can result in immediate benefits. Entrepreneurship can be approached without the need to view it as a battleground.

Engaging in business presents the potential to positively impact one's own life and the lives of others. It's beneficial to invest in personal development and learning, regardless of any immediate plans for entrepreneurship. There is a significant pace of change happening globally. Leverage your inherent flexibility to gain fresh experiences. It can be beneficial to pursue your interests, even if they evolve over time. Seek out individuals with similar interests and gain knowledge from them. Today, there is increasing evidence that the days of specializing in one area and honing one's skills are becoming a thing of the past.

There is a traditional belief that women's primary roles are focused on marriage and motherhood, rather than taking the initiative in work. The survey of 30,000 North American employees revealed that both men and women displayed high levels of ambition, with 78% and 75% respectively. The presence or absence of children is not a determining factor.

Despite diligence, ambition, and the quality of work, the wage gap between men and women remains at 20% in the United States and may not always reflect the impact of these factors on job assessment.

The situation has become a cycle that feeds into itself. Women have the ability to succeed in various fields, however, there appears to be a gap when it comes to highly responsible or technical work.

Once a male-only territory, Australian entrepreneurship now attracts many women capable of fiercely competing with their male rivals. But male entrepreneurs in Australia still outnumber women. The latest stats show that Australian women entrepreneurs are still lesser than 35%. But more women are entering this male-dominated field, launching businesses and making them very successful.

These are hundreds of Australian businesswomen who deserve a mention, but we have focused on just a few of them in this article.

Melanie Perkins

Declared to be the third richest woman in Australia in 2020, Melanie Perkins is among the youngest women CEOs of a technology start-up worth more than AU$ 1 billion. She is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Canva, a platform that helps people create designs online in seconds.

Noticing the difficulties students face in mastering the techniques of design, she saw in it a business opportunity. She decided to make it easy for people to create designs. Taking things a step further, she aimed to create a design platform that requires no technical expertise. She even dropped out of university to pursue the idea.

In 2020, Perkins featured in Forbes list of top under-30 of the decade. She also featured in the 2020 rich list of Australian Financial Review because of her net worth of AU$3.43 billion.

Kayla Itsines

Starting as a personal trainer at an Adelaide gym, Kayla Itsines went on to become one of the top woman entrepreneurs in Australia. By the time she turned 29, she had achieved one of the most difficult things in the world—building a successful business. She is the creator of the Sweat with Kayla app, one of the most successful fitness apps in the world.

Kayla’s net worth is $64 million. She features in the Times 2016 list of 30 most influential people on the Internet. This is because, by October 2016, she had 12.5 million followers on Instagram and 8 million on Facebook.

The entrepreneur says that she is successful on social media because she focuses on her followers and their fitness journeys, not on herself and her fitness goals. She hardly posts her photos on social media, focusing instead on photos of how fitness transforms the human body.

She has also created a fitness eBook series titled "Bikini Body Guides," but it was her fitness, workout, and meal-planning app that took her to the heights of success.

Janine Allis

Australia has more Boost Juice bars than kangaroos, and that is because of the efforts of Janine Allis, who started a home-based juice business in 2000. After a couple of decades, Janine had established 550 Boost Juice bars all over the world.

Janine taught the world about leadership through example, demonstrating it by starting her business in her kitchen and then shifting it to Chapel Street in Prahran before transforming it into a global phenomenon.  She also co-owns Retail Zoo, the parent company of Boost Juice, Cibo Espresso, and Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill.

In her book titled "The Accidental Entrepreneur - The Juicy Bits," she talks about the importance of resilience for success.

Maxine Horne

A woman who had to face failure before tasting success, Maxine Horne is the founder of Vita Group, which currently employs 1700+ people and reports steady yearly revenue growth of 30%. Her Vita Group generates $450 million in revenue every year and she receives AU$1,468,210 as its CEO.

The fact that she has bagged awards and titles such as the QBR Businesswoman of the Year (2006), EY Entrepreneur of the Year (2014), and Courier Mail Businessperson of the Year (2019) is indicative of her success.

We live in progressive times, but women still often have to choose between family and career. In this article we have collected the best business ideas for women, which can be combined with home schooling and raising babies. The selection includes business project options that are relevant in 2020, and some of them can be implemented even at home, with minimal investment. The article will be useful for beginner women entrepreneurs who want to start their own business but do not know in what field or where to start.

How Women in the Digital World Enhance the Competitiveness of Businesses

Men are stronger, they are more resilient, more able to work. Business world is a world of men. The list of such stereotypes can be continued indefinitely. But will people stick to this opinion in 5, 10, 20 years? Is it worth weaving this thread of the Stone Age into the 21st century, which has already been exhausted and is about to break? Or is it worth taking an objective look at the changed roles of men and women in business through the prism of inclusiveness and advantages that are naturally inherent to each of the sexes?

Lose the masks

We, women, have been cultivating "necessary" qualities and wearing "men's masks" for a long time. We were driven by the desire to be heard, to win a worthy place in the business community. At the same time we were breaking our nature, becoming more rigid. Only a few were able to find a harmonious combination of their natural features and knowledge on the one hand and the requirements of the business world on the other. In most cases, women still oppose their careers to family and purely "female" functions.

Lose the masks

The role of women in business and in the family can be quite different. She is different at work, on vacation with friends. These are different spheres of life. However, quite often in our society one can hear discriminatory phrases against women. For example: "she is an iron lady, her poor husband", or "with such a masculine approach she will never get married", "we'll look at her when the children appear". Can you imagine such phrases in relation to any man?

The connection between kindergarten and women's employment

We know that child care plays an important role in women's economic decisions, including their participation in the labor market. A working paper from the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific Gender Innovation Laboratory shows that improving access to child care services increases women's labor force participation in Indonesia by 13 percent. This data also suggests that access to child care services can also affect women's access to information and opportunities.

This is important for workers, as those who use informal channels to learn about opportunities to leave the country for work are more likely to migrate illegally. The risks of undocumented migration are higher than those of formal migration and relatively higher for women. Women are more likely than men to experience emotional and physical abuse as a result of informal migration and, like men, they also risk becoming victims of financial exploitation.

In the future - respect and collaboration

The epoch "or-or" has passed away. The world has changed. Trying to get into the car of the train, which is rapidly taking away into the future, we are carrying with us the remnants of the last century. Let's stop for a few minutes and, realizing the changes that are taking place, let's calmly get into the first car of the train, which is going to the country of efficiency, inclusiveness, respect and collaboration. Few will dispute the truth that women and men are different in nature (this has already been proven by many studies). I invite you to build successful businesses, projects and breakthrough ideas on this difference, using the talents and abilities of each sex.

It has long been scientifically proven that women have a stronger connection between analytical and intuitive abilities of information processing. For this reason, they have better developed social skills and ability to solve multi-tasks. Women switch more easily and faster from one task to another than men.

Strengths of female leaders

How can this be reflected in the business processes of a successful company? And is there any evidence of these scientific facts in the business survey of managers? Yes, there are.

Strengths of female leaders

In June 2018, KPMG International released the first global study Global Female Leaders Outlook, which presented the differences in competencies and business approaches between men and women. This report demonstrates women's willingness to manage companies in a digital and technologically transforming environment, innovate and take responsibility.

New Technologies

In particular, 48% of managers have a sufficient level of competence to work with artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, augmented by reality and 3D printing. This is an invaluable skill for all companies in VUCA-world.

Multi-tasking

Things are changing so rapidly that adaptability, flexibility and multitasking are becoming a new currency. Here, women are becoming more successful and very effective. In my opinion, this means that any project team should include women whose opinion should be taken into account.

Customer focus

Customer service becomes an important and priority issue. It does not just transform into beautiful slogans, but often becomes a strong competitive advantage in highly competitive markets. Clients are becoming more and more demanding, expecting not only good service, but also elements of empathy and anticipation of their desires. In this business direction, women can also be successful, according to research data. By their nature, women are client-oriented, firmly believe in the productivity of personal relationships and collaboration: 66% do not see the risk of losing existing clients (because the processes are well established and work well), focus on attracting new clients, which in the future will be permanent for the company.

Facts, not intuition

Confirming scientific facts that women have a stronger connection between analytical and intuitive ability to process information, 77% of women believe that the use of predictive data models and analytics will increase. They are confident in making decisions based on data. While the Outlook 2018 CEO report, which was attended by 84 percent of men, reflects the fact that decisions are mostly based on intuition (67 percent).

If your company is thinking about transforming its business for strong growth, adapting to new technologies, improving customer service, look who is responsible for these areas. Are there women on your teams? Does your corporate culture promote the involvement of women in business process re-engineering? Perhaps today is the moment when it is important to take a step forward in gender equality to ensure the success and profitability of your company in a rapidly changing world.

Successful businesswomen help newcomers to choose an idea, start a business, build processes.

For those who are starting their own business or are still burning with an idea, we have collected a selection of 20 tips from already existing girl entrepreneurs. Businesswomen who know from their own experience what difficulties and problems can wait at the initial stage, share their recommendations on choosing a niche, starting a business, building processes.

Business-woman tips
    1. Set goals. Not just for a year, 5 years, 50. It is great to set goals for 100 years, goals beyond life. When you realize what legacy you will leave (books, texts, meanings, values, children), it becomes clear why all this is necessary.
    2. It is necessary to understand how you will improve the lives of others with your wonderful future business. What is your value? Why do you create a business?
    3. Write a plan, a sequence of actions and an end result that you want to see in the end. Then it will be clear the path to be followed. When you understand the reality of the end result and the adequacy of your steps, then you can come to something.
    4. It is important to understand from the beginning how your business will scale. Many entrepreneurs miss it. You cannot do it for 10, 15, 30, 40 years. You have to understand what kind of development you have. If you are making one product, who else can you supply it to. If you open a store, how are you really going to scale it. If you have this understanding, it is very noticeable in business. It's a vision of the future, of how you're going to enter another country's market, it allows you to see from above whether you're doing it right.
    5. There's no need to build an idealistic picture at once. I read a book about business development, and there was a good phrase about perfectionists. When you send out mail, you can create an envelope - an example of Michelangelo's work, for which you will spend a lot of effort and time, but know that a regular envelope and such an envelope masterpiece will come to the addressee at the same time. This doesn't mean that you have to do some work, but you don't have to put something off because you can't do it perfectly at the first attempt. Just start to act and it will work better over and over again. As long as you bring it to perfection in your head, the other one will take it and start implementing it. Decide on what you are in love with, and start to act now.
    6. If you have an idea in your head, don't put it in a long box, look for funds to implement the project! Otherwise, you may get ahead of yourself.
    7. Be sure to come up with something new. If you do like everyone else, people won't come to you because they already have "their own people" who are doing the same thing.
    8. Finding your niche is very easy: if you need your own product and you know other people who need it, and you love what you're going to do, the product is doomed to success. The only thing left to do is to make an effort.
    9. Be aware of the fact that it may not go well. Well, it just so happened. I opened an online store of designer watches. They were super cool, but there were few sales. It happens that way. It is important not to give up. All businessmen go through this first "pit". Someone eats it, a person decides that the business is not his, and returns to work for hire. And somebody overcomes difficulties. Someone tries again and again. And if you are not ready to do it, it is better not to go into business.
    10. First of all, it is important to be honest with yourself and to answer the question why you need your business, what kind of opportunities that you can't get while working as an employee, entrepreneurship gives you personally. Often the concept of "your business" is too romanticized, you can read a bunch of articles about the history of failures and all the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs to have a more complete picture of how it happens.
    11. Do not pour too much money in. Money corrupts resources and prevents you from thinking. When money is scarce or limited, creativity and productivity are included. You look for new solutions, you use unconventional approaches. Noubar Afeyan of the Massachusetts University of Technology (MIT Sloan), one of today's prominent entrepreneurs and investors, says about start-ups: "It's ruining your own ego, a lot of money and no team. We didn't have a team at first either, we all wanted to do it ourselves, but it's very difficult to do something alone.
    12. If you are not confident in yourself, in your strength, in your idea, you shouldn't invest a lot of money in business at this stage. All the more reason to take a lot of credits and get back into debt. Start with a small one. Start with what you have.
    13. Count on it. Action-analysis, action-analysis. I came to this very not immediately. To the fact that the business on the one hand is a fan, you do what you like, you think it's funny, you may not meet the standards. But it's very important to look at the future, what brings the exhaust and what does not. Where to invest and where not to invest.
    14. Do not wait for quick results. Our life teaches us to dates: we defended our diploma, went to look for an internship and so on. And in business results do not appear immediately, and you need to be calm about it and just keep working.
      • So before you make a decision to start a business, think about how you will measure your success in life, because it is measured not only by money.
    15. All processes have to be organized. All behavior patterns should be set at the beginning, the rules - written down on paper, so that each employee understands the other with half a letter and all work in a single way.
    16. It is necessary to count the money and delegate it. Many people do not understand what to spend money on at the start and what niche the money is in and where it is not in. I am not a fan of business plans, but I am for the fact that everything should be counted at the start. How much should I invest? When will everything work out? Who and what will do if it does not work? It is necessary to learn how to delegate. You should not consider yourself the smartest and think that no one will do better than you. This attitude hinders your growth.
    17. You don't have to get attached to your employees. Any business, absolutely any business - it is always a staff turnover. I have made some distinctions. A job is a job. There are working moments in which I am very demanding, but at the same time I can madly love a person and be friends with him in life.
    18. Treat business as business: pay your salary and assess how much more profitable it is to have a business than a corporate job.
      • There is no need to spend time on developing your weaknesses. Even if you put a lot of time and effort into it, it will still turn out mediocre. It is better to develop your strengths. Delegate everything else.
    19. Be sure to start social networks and show what is going on in your business. Now both your personal brand and your business should be as transparent as possible. People will trust you if you show them the truth. Where are you, what's going on with you, what's in the business, what customers go. I don't even have any special secrets, because everything is as open as possible for each client.
    20. You can't work with rough clients. This is stress, which does not justify money. The people who will come across them (my employees) will be nervous for nothing. The exception is a good financial bonus for harmful work. Very good.
